Your Smile.

When you smile, it's as if you're giving me a little piece of your heart. We must not forget that life is unpredictable, we can never control the past nor the future. But you can change the mood of each moment by touching someone's heart with your smile.

Your Self-Respect

I love the way you accept who you are completely, the good and the bad. The changes you make in your life because you think it's right and not because anyone else wants you to.

An important lesson: If you can't love and respect yourself, no one will.

Your Courage

There are days when it's hard to get out of bed, put on a smile and face reality but you still find strength and will to carry on.

Your courage is my encouragement.

Your Passion

You have taught me that life isn't always about the struggles in front of you but the idea, dreams, passions and the people that are behind you and within you.

Your Creativity

I love the way you continue to jump from great heights and develop your wings on the way. The way you look at a situation, instead of asking "Why?", you ask, "Why not?"

Your Positivity

When you laugh and there's no insistent reason to do so. It's all about a glass with water in it, you don't care if it's half-empty or full, what matters is to have a glass with something in it.

Your Kindness and Compassion

Thank you for being a friend. For being there when no one seems to listen. For being there even when you're busy working and dealing with your own issues.

Your Unconditional Acceptance

You take people for what they are and not for what they should be, you appreciate and not label or change the person.

You taught me to appreciate and accept a person with who they truly are and not who you think they should be.

Your Sense of Humor

You manage to see the positive in the negative things that happen in your life. Thank you for helping me see the beauty  and comedy in this crazy world.

Your Love and Loyalty

Despite any pain or struggle, you still continue to love, that's just who you are. You have taught me that relationships are about two people being together even during tough times and that remaining faithful is not an option but a priority.

Happiness is not about getting what you want. It’s about wanting what you already have. Happiness is not about desiring more but thankful for what you have and patience for what’s yet to come. We’re often too busy trying to accomplish big that we forget the little things that give life its beauty.

Appreciate what will happen every single day of your life. This will be one of those “good old days” you’re going to miss in the next years.

Purpose is the reason why we continue to journey. Value what you do. Hard work comes easy when your work becomes your play. As long as you love and you're happy with your work, carry on.

If you can't put your heart into it, if you can't come to love it, might as well get out of it. Live by choice. Make changes. Be motivated.

Stress is an attitude. Your day will be chaotic when you decide it to be.

Know what you really want and why. Sometimes, lack of direction creates stress. Prioritize things. At the end of the day, think of the progress you made, free yourself of negativity, refuse to carry unwanted baggages like regrets, resentments.

Anticipate stress. Accept it, let go.

Live in the moment. Enjoy & appreciate the present. Common notion: Young people look forward to the happy days ahead of them while older people believe that their best days are behind them.

There's always something worth smiling. There are so many ways to be happy, it's all about attitude, thinking differently.

When you start doing right things, almost anything that you want will follow.

Appreciate where you are right now and continue fighting for where you want to be. Rough days are rough days, it might hold you down but it won't last forever. Sulk if you want to but learn from it, stand tall and be ready for another battle.

Refuse to be ordinary. Always move forward, aim high! Take chances that feels right. Don't just play safe. You will never learn and grow if you opt to remain in your comfort zone.

Go out, celebrate life. Treat yourself. Build ties,
nurture relationships.

Live a life that you love. Know what you want and continue to add or revise it along the way.

Focus. Get rid of distractions or activities that's not really necessary and takes too much of your time.

In general, balloons are defined as any flexible bag which can be rubber or latex that is inflated with a gas such as helium, hydrogen, oxygen or air. It is used in different ways, decorative or practical purposes.

When I was younger I always ask my mom to buy balloons every time we go to church. As a kid you are mesmerized by its different colors, different shapes. It can be used to calm down a kid who's having tantrums. Some use it as a bribe.

As I grew older, my views about balloons changed. I left for college, lived alone, thrived to be independent, tried to cope up with all the pressure. The university where I went to is just two blocks away from a church and I pass there every day. When I see someone selling balloons, it lightens up my mood. It eases the stress, lessens the home sickness.

Nowadays, balloons are used to express something, to deliver a message.

Balloons are given to sick persons like cancer patients or those who have been in the hospital for so long. When they see the colors, it radiates positivity, hope. It gives them the will, the strength to fight and continue to live.

Some Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) community in different parts of the world uses balloons to take a stand. To tell the society that they exist. They don't deserve discrimination. They also serve and contribute to our society as much as straight people do. They too are humans and they deserve respect.

For some people, it is used as a symbol, a cry for justice. Family and friends of those people who died and needs justice usually uses balloons as a sign of hope, courage and strength.

Balloons have always been used as a symbol to celebrate life. To remind us that life is indeed colorful. It offers many things, enjoy it. It allows you to meet new people, cherish your relationship with them. There may be challenges or adversities, but it will pass. Don't be too hard on yourself dear. You are in charge of your own happiness. Always, Always, find ways to be happy.
